This photoshoot is inspired by fashion, glamour, beauty, fine art, and boudoir.
That's a lot, yes, but women have so many layers. This experience is about connecting with all your layers, your whole self, inside and out, your body and your soul, appreciating it, owning it, being grateful for it, loving it. Capture your soul in images as a way to always remember yourself.
The most captivating images are soulful images with connection and depth. They are created when someone is truly in the present moment.

Booking. Text Gina Main Photography to schedule a phone call to get more information and/or book the shoot. The Black Friday session fee of $249 is payable at the time of booking.
Shoots are:
M-F at 11 am**
​
​
Pre-shoot meet and greet. On the day of the shoot, we will meet at the chosen location. We will do a brief centering meditation to set the tone. Then we will either begin shooting in a discrete outdoor location or move into my studio space. This is a necessary protection for both of us, as my studio is in a personal location.
​
​
The photoshoot. A private and discrete 75 minute, guided photoshoot, outdoor and/or in. The shoot will take place in Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, or Oak Park, CA. Details given before booking.
​
​
An in-person viewing and ordering sales session. Either 30 minutes after the photoshoot or after you break for lunch (whichever you prefer) you will get to see 60 - 80 of the best images (unretouched) in black and white. Any image you love and choose to purchase will be retouched (unless you request no retouching). This session usually takes 60-90 minutes.

A pricing menu with product collections* (digitals, prints, wall-art, and albums) will be sent to you BEFORE you book.

Pay nothing more at this session and choose two digital images to be retouched and delivered digitally, printable to 8x10.

Order pick-up. 3-4 weeks after your session, return to the studio to pick up your album, wall art, and/or prints. My earnest hope is that seeing the art of you in print moves your soul the same as your actual photo session.
Optionally, you may pay for a drop shipment to your home if returning to the studio is not possible. But I hope you'll opt to return so I can see your reaction to your artwork!

Refunds for the $249 fee are allowable one time and must occur three weeks prior to your session date to be honored.
Rescheduling is allowable one time and must occur 48 hours before the scheduled session.

Your styling speaks volumes about you!
Make sure you say the right thing!
WHAT TO WEAR

Think minimal. We want the focus to be on you and your body, not your clothes.

Bring a few choices that you love yourself in. This does NOT have to be something that you'd wear on a regular day or even outside in public. You get to be creative here. We can decide at the shoot what will work best.

Bring black, white, and nude lingerie options. Nipple covers too if you prefer discretion under translucent material.

Sheer or lacy shawls and wraps give you a fun prop to play with and also look really cool.

Accessories, such as bracelets, plunging necklaces, earrings, body chains, etc. can personalize your session even more.

A meaningful heirloom or gift accessory is highly encouraged! It will add depth and emotion to an image.

Body suits are incredibly beautiful on every body! Go black, grey, white or skin-colored. Nordstroms has many skin colors to choose from!

Test your apparel choices long before your shoot day to make sure they all work!

If you feel you don't have anything, don't worry! I have fabrics, wraps, robes, dresses, lingerie, and more for you to choose from.
HOW TO PREP
MAKEUP and HAIR

Come with fresh and clean makeup, the way you love to be seen on a good day.

Eyebrows are often overlooked. Pardon the pun! Please make sure they are groomed in the shape you'd like to see in photos!

Bring makeup and hair styling tools for light touch ups during the shoot, like lipstick and a brush.
-
Lips are so important! Apply a lip conditioner before bed for weeks before your shoot and exfoliate to eliminate flakes!

Pay close attention to lipstick or gloss application. Bare lips are better than lipstick mistakes!

Come with clean hair that is lightly styled and not greasy! For long hair, please keep it moveable, without too much hairspray.

A hydra-facial a day or two before the shoot is a great way to go above and beyond for your self-love experience!

BODY

Shave or wax, unless you don't care about that sort of thing! I believe in breaking "rules" of beauty and doing what feels right to you.

NAILS! Please shape and color them how you would like. Hands WILL be in the photos.

Glasses will create indentations on your face. If you don't want this, please remove them a good while before your shoot.
-
Drink lots of water in the days leading up to your shoot so your skin is glowing and hydrated.
-
Moisturize from head to toe on the day of the shoot.
-
Please wear loose clothing on the way to the shoot so there are no temporary skin indents.

BREATHE

That was a lot of prep-work, I know! It's one reason modeling is NOT for me. I wouldn't want to worry about those things all the time. But this is a special occasion that you don't do every day! The more you feel prepared, the better you will be able to BREATHE, relax, and enjoy your shoot!
EXTRA CREDIT: Practice moving your body in front of a full body mirror, standing and sitting. Pay attention to the angles and facial expressions you like best!
